How to Access Khelo India Certificates on DigiLocker: Sports Authority of India Integrates Certificates for Easy Access
The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has taken a step towards digitalization by integrating Khelo India Games Certificates with DigiLocker. This initiative enables athletes, support staff, technical officers, chef de missions, competition managers, and other stakeholders to access their Khelo India Certificates through the digital platform.
Accessing Khelo India Certificates Made Easy
With this integration, Khelo India Games athletes and other stakeholders can easily access their certificates of merit and participation from the Khelo India Youth Games 2022 in Madhya Pradesh onwards.
DigiLocker, a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) under the Digital India Program, is a secure cloud-based platform for storage that enables easy sharing and verification of documents and certificates.
Benefits of the Integration
The integration of Khelo India Certificates with DigiLocker will allow athletes and stakeholders to access their digitally verified certificates with just one click, anytime and anywhere.
The certificates will be authentic and legally at par with the originals. Online sharing of certificates will be possible with consent, and real-time verification of certificates will be possible as different stakeholders can directly verify the data after obtaining consent from the certificate holder.
Expansion of DigiLocker
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced during the Budget 2023 announcements that DigiLockers will be expanded to enable more fintech innovation. She also mentioned that enterprise-level Digilockers for MSMEs, trusts, and other entities will be introduced.
In conclusion, the integration of Khelo India Certificates with DigiLocker will make access to these certificates much easier and faster.
