The CBSE has introduced an online training portal called “Prashikshan Triveni” for teacher training programs. This platform will provide an all-in-one solution for registration, attendance marking, feedback submission, and certification for online, offline, and blended training programmes.
Introduction about Prashikshan Triveni for Teachers Training
CBSE Teacher Training: Central Board of Secondary Education has been organizing in-service teachers trainings known as Capacity Building Programmes through its Centre of Excellence (CoEs). Initially these programmes were organized through face to face mode only.
In the year 2020, the Online Teachers Training Sessions were introduced due to COVID19 Pandemic situation and it proved to be a great success in imparting a large number of teachers trainings. Registration, attendance marking, feedback submission and certificate generation of these online sessions are being done through CBSE Training Portal.
CBSE Schools Reinstate Face-to-Face Learning, Emphasize Teacher Professional Development
CBSE Board has reinstated the face to face/ offline/ blended programme from last year after relaxation in restrictions imposed due to the pandemic. In view of clauses 5.15 and 5.16 of National Education Policy 2020, each Principal/teacher is expected to participate in at least 50 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities every year for their own professional development.
However, tracking of trainings attended by teachers of CBSE affiliated schools is important in view of broad planning and policy decision.
In order to manage teachers training records effectively, CBSE has launched a new teacher training portal, “Prashikshan Triveni”, which will provide an integrated platform for the registration, attendance marking, feedback submission and certification for online, offline and blended training programmes.
