CBSE Launches Prashikshan Triveni Portal for Effective Management of Teacher Training Records

CBSE Circular:  The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a new portal, “Prashikshan Triveni”, for the effective management of teachers’ training records. The portal provides an integrated platform for registration, attendance marking, feedback submission, and certification for online, offline, and blended training programs.

This article highlights CBSE’s capacity-building programs, including face-to-face and online sessions, and the importance of tracking training attendance. Schools are encouraged to register their teachers through the training portal, and the flow chart for online registration is provided for convenience. Introduction of Pariksh Triveni by CBSE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been organizing in-service teachers training programmes known as Capacity Building Programmes through its Centre of Excellence (CoEs) to enhance the skills of teachers. Initially, these programmes were conducted through face-to-face mode only. However, due to the COVID19 pandemic situation, online training sessions were introduced in 2020 and were successful in imparting a large number of teachers’ training.

To manage teachers’ training records effectively, CBSE has launched a new portal, “Prashikshan Triveni.” The portal provides an integrated platform for registration, attendance marking, feedback submission, and certification for online, offline, and blended training programmes.

The portal will help CBSE to track the training attended by teachers of CBSE affiliated schools and make broad planning and policy decisions.

Registration for Training Programmes

CBSE has reinstated the face-to-face/offline/blended programme from last year after relaxation in restrictions imposed due to the pandemic. Each Principal/teacher is expected to participate in at least 50 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities every year for their own professional development, as per clause 5.15 and 5.16 of National Education Policy 2020.

Schools are informed to register their teachers online through Prashikshan Triveni/Training portal at www.cbse.gov.in for the offline (face-to-face) mode Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs)/Online Sessions/blended programmes being offered by the Centre of Excellence (CoEs).
