NCERT Launches Online Training on Digital Wellness for Educators and Students

This training program is designed to enhance awareness and implement healthy digital habits, critical for maintaining mental and physical health in a technology-driven world.
What is Digital Wellness?
Digital Wellness involves the conscious use of technology, emphasizing a balanced life both online and offline. This concept encourages mindful engagement with digital devices, prioritizing privacy, and minimizing the risks associated with prolonged digital exposure, such as eye strain, poor posture, and digital addiction.
Online Training Details: A Step Towards Safer Digital Environments
From July 1 to July 12, 2024, the Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) at NCERT will conduct a detailed online training series focusing on “Digital Wellness.” This series is part of their broader ‘Cyber Safety and Security’ program.
The ncert training sessions are scheduled for English speakers from July 1-5 and for Hindi speakers from July 8-12, daily from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

How to Participate in NCERT’s Digital Wellness Online Training

Step 1: Registration
- Register Online: Click on the following registration link to register for the training sessions.
- QR Code Option: Alternatively, scan the provided QR code to access the registration form directly.
Step 2: Watch Live Sessions
- Viewing Options: Tune into live sessions from July 1-5, 2024, between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday). Sessions are accessible on several platforms:

- Certification: Achieve a score of 70% or higher to receive your certificate, accessible on your DIKSHA profile page. Please note, it may take 15-20 days to receive the certificate.

Step 4: Submit Your Feedback
- Feedback Form: Share your training experiences and suggestions by filling out the feedback form or scanning the QR code.
