In the age of connected devices and 24/7 online access, the need for comprehensive security measures has reached a tipping point. The Internet of Things (IoT) is no longer a futuristic concept but an integral part of our daily lives, transforming everything from industrial operations to smart home management. As beneficial as these technologies are, they present significant security vulnerabilities, emphasizing the urgency for rigorous IoT security measures.

CIET Teacher Training: Educating on IoT and Mobile Security

Recognizing this dire need, the Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), a constituent unit of the NCERT, is launching a specialized Govt. Online Teacher Training program aimed at enhancing the understanding and implementation of IoT and Mobile Security. The course aims to address critical issues such as hacking, unauthorized access, and data breaches, which are substantial risks in the current digital landscape.

Mobile Devices: The New Frontier for Hackers

The Online NCERT Teacher Training Program also puts a spotlight on mobile security, which has become an area of increasing concern. Our mobile devices serve as multipurpose hubs for a range of financial and personal information. These characteristics make them high-value targets for hackers, exacerbating the risk of security compromises.

Creating a Culture of Digital Responsibility

The online training program by CIET Teacher Training aims to equip participants with practical knowledge on best practices, possible risks, and mitigation strategies. A culture of digital responsibility can be fostered by educating people, organizations, and sectors. This is more than just a course; it is a vital step in safeguarding the privacy, personal data, and foundational infrastructures of a society heavily dependent on technology.
