Revolutionizing Teacher Training: NCERT CIET’s New Initiative
In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) — a transformative vision that champions inclusivity in education — NCERT CIET has rolled out an online training program focused on “Digital Technology for Children With Special Needs.” This initiative not only emphasizes the importance of digital technology in education but also accentuates the need for teacher training to harness its potential effectively.
Embracing Technology to Champion Inclusivity
The current technological era is redefining our educational landscape. Understanding this shift, the NEP 2020 advocates for an education system that’s accessible to all, breaking past traditional barriers. Recognizing digital technology’s pivotal role in promoting inclusivity, NCERT CIET’s training is designed to equip teachers with the tools and knowledge to navigate this digital turn, especially for children with special needs.
A New Dawn: Equipping Teachers for a Digital Future
With a mission to cultivate a more inclusive educational environment, this training seeks to prepare teachers to identify the unique ICT needs of children with special needs, harness appropriate digital resources, and integrate them seamlessly into the curriculum. This initiative by NCERT CIET ensures that every child, regardless of their abilities, receives a quality education tailored to their needs.
