About Sports Authority of India
The Sports Authority of India (SAI), a successor organization of the Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982, was set up as a Society registered of Societies Act, 1860 by the Department of Sports, Govt. of India with the objective of promotion of Sports and Games.
FIT India Mission:
The Fit India Mission under the aegis of Sports Authority of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has decided to launch Fit India Quiz for schools across the country in the Month of September, 2021 to create awareness about fitness and sports among school children.

How to participate in Fit India School Quiz 2021?
To participate in the Fit India quiz, schools will have to register on the link given on the official website Fit India between September 1 and 30 and nominate the students who are to appear in the preliminary round of the quiz by the end of October 2021.

The Objectives of FIT India School Quiz 2021
- The objective of the Fit India quiz is to provide a National platform to students to showcase their knowledge about fitness and sports.
- Create awareness among students about India’s rich sports history, including centuries old indigenous sports, national and regional sport heroes of the past and how traditional Indian lifestyle activities hold the key to a Fit Life for all.

The quiz is the first National-Level Fit India Quiz for students : Fit india school quiz winning price which will give out total cash award of Rs.3.25 crore to schools and students. The Fit India quiz will also be the first-ever fitness and sports quiz to be telecast of India’s one of the largest sport television channels – Star Sports as well as on National TV Channel. Students who make it to the national round as representatives of their school, will therefore get a change to showcase their talent before entire nation.

How Many Rounds in Fit India School Quiz 2021 ?
The Fit India School quiz will be conducted in four rounds of the quiz will include the following:
1. School Round: To be conducted by the school to register the school students for the Preliminary Round.
2. Preliminary Round: To be a multiple-choice online country wide quiz
3. State Round: To be conducted by each State/UTs with the support form FIT India Mission amongst Schools qualified after preliminary round.
4. National Round: Final round in which winning team of each State/UT will participate and fight for the TOP TITLE of the National Winner of FIT INDIA QUIZ 2021.

Documents do You Need to have to appear in the test.
Candidates MUST keep the following documents handy, before commencement of the test:
- Admit Card
- Any one of the original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the government – PAN card/School ID Card/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E-Aadhaar/ Ration Card./ Aadhaar Enrolment No. with photograph/ Photograph and signature duly attested by the Head Master/Principal of the school where he is studying on the letterhead of the School.

How Can School Register for FIT India School Quiz 2021 ?
In order to participate in the Fit India Quiz Contest, the schools will have to register themselves through the link provided on Fit India website.
Who is eligible to apply for Fit India School Competition ?
Any School, private/public/Govt under any syllabus, State Board/CBSE or ICSE or any other authority, located in India, may apply. All students studying in any class up to Class XII in schools across India, are eligible to participate in the Fit India Quiz. However, they must be nominated by the School in which they are studying. There is no restriction of age of the candidate for participating in the test. However, the questions in the quiz contest are such that those studying in Class VIII and above would be able to answer them easily.

All schools across India can participate in the quiz by registering on registration link provided on Fit India website (www.fitindia.gov.in). The quiz will be open for students (up to class XII) from all age groups.
What is the process of selection of schools for participating in the Fit India Quiz Contest?
The Fit India Quiz Contest will be held in the following phases/rounds. A. Registration B. Preliminary Round (NTA Round) C. State Round D. National Round.
What areas will be covered under the FIT India School Quiz contest?
The various phases/rounds will have questions from multiple themes as outlined below: • History of Indian Sports, Traditional Sports and Games, Yoga, Personalities etc. • Fitness topics with special emphasis on Indian traditional fitness methods. • Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Khelo India Games, and other popular sports.
How to apply online for SAI Fit India Quiz?
- To apply for this quiz, you need to visit the official website or contact your school.
- The link to this portal is- https://fitindia.gov.in.
- You can also get yourself registered by contacting your school.
- For this quiz, Rs.250/- has to be paid per student.
- Your registration will be complete only after submitting the fee.

What will be the timelines for the Fit India Quiz Contest?
The quiz procedure shall start with the registration. The registration will start on 1 st September 2021 and end on 30th September 2021.
What is the duration of the Fit India test?
Duration of the test is 45 minutes.
How many questions would be there in the Fit India test?
Each test would consist of 75 Multiple Choice Questions, on general knowledge relating to Sports & fitness. All Questions shall be Multiple Choice with 4 options.
Whom can I contact in case my admit card has some issue, or I am not able to download my admit card?

How will the candidate get his/her admit card?
The admit card will be uploaded on NTA website whose link will be provided on Fit India website https://fitindia.gov.in as per the schedule communicated through the website. Generally, they will be hosted about 15 days before the date of the test. Schools can login to the site and view the details of the candidates nominated by them, admitted to the test, with their names, gender, class, roll number, language opted, time slot, etc.
Individual candidates can view, download, and print their admit card from the site using their School Application Number, mobile number (own or that of any of their parents entered in the application form) and date of birth.
