At a modest 16.3 MB, the app is compatible with iPhones running on iOS 16.1 or later.
Despite being free of cost, users can choose to upgrade to ChatGPT Plus at a subscription fee of Rs 1,999 per month. The Plus version offers additional benefits including syncing chat history across devices.
It also supports voice inputs, thanks to its integration with an open-source speech recognition system.

ChatGPT was launched for public use in a web version last year, and it quickly became one of the most successful tech launches to date.

How to Download Chat GPT on a Phone?
Downloading the ChatGPT application on your iPhone is a straightforward process. Here are the steps:
Open the Apple App Store on your iPhone.
In the search bar, type “ChatGPT” and press ‘search’.
Locate the official ChatGPT app in the search results. Ensure it’s the correct one by checking the developer’s name, which should be OpenAI.
Tap the ‘Get’ button next to the app. If asked, enter your Apple ID password or use Touch ID/Face ID for verification. The download process should begin.
Once the app is downloaded and installed, you’ll see an ‘Open’ button in the App Store, and the ChatGPT icon will appear on your iPhone’s home screen.
Tap the ChatGPT icon to open the app.
