CBSE is going to organize a series of Webinars on School Quality Assessment & Assurance Framework (SQAAF). You are requested to attend the Live telecast of the webinar on the YouTube channel.
A New Initiative to Enhance School Education Quality
In a significant step towards the enhancement of the school education system, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to organize a series of webinars on the School Quality Assessment & Assurance Framework (SQAAF). The first in this series will be held on July 21, 2023, between 3 PM to 5 PM.
Working Towards NEP-2020 Goals with SQAAF
The SQAAF initiative is part of the CBSE’s continuous efforts to achieve the goals set by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The policy, known for its far-sighted pathways, focuses on restructuring and enhancing the governance and regulation of the school education system.
In accordance with this, CBSE has designed the SQAAF to catalyze transformational change in its affiliated schools. The standards set under SQAAF cover multiple facets of school functioning, including curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, infrastructure, inclusive practices, human resources, management and governance, leadership, and beneficiary satisfaction.
The Benefits of SQAAF and its Impact on Schools
SQAAF provides an empowering platform for schools to self-assess their performance across various domains. This self-assessment methodology enables schools to set their own targets and goals, fostering development and continual improvement.
