CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2022: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE (CBSE) has extended the registration deadline for the Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2022 scheme. A notice regarding the same is available on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.

As per the notice, now the last date for submission of the online application for the scholarship is November 30, 2022. Apart from this, the verification of applications by the schools will be done by December 17, 2022.

CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child aims to provide scholarships for meritorious girl students who are the only child of their parents.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES TIMELINE

The last date for submission of online applications for the following scholarship schemes has been extended as per the given schedule.

Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2022 Scheme: Last date for submission of online applications by the applicant is 30.11.2022 Verification of application by school: 07.12.2022

Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2021 (Renewal 2022) Scheme: Renewal of CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship X awarded in 2021 – The last date for submission of online applications by the applicant is 30.11.2022 Verification of application by school: 07.12.2022

What are the eligibility criteria for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2022

The girl student should be the only child of her parents.
Must have secured 60% or 6.2 CGPA or more in class X examination.
Studying in classes 11th and 12th in CBSE affiliated schools.
Girl students whose tuition fee does not exceed Rs.1500 per month for class 10th during the academic year.
Students can apply online for the scholarship by submitting their roll number and certificate number as printed on the 10th class mark sheet and uploading other required documents.

Interested candidates visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.

• Now, scroll down and then click on the scholarship tab.
• A new page will appear on the screen.
• Now, click on the link which reads, ‘Guidelines and Application Form 2022/Apply Online’.
• Under it, click on the link that reads, Single Girl Child Scholarship – 2022 (Fresh Application) / Apply Now.
• A new page will appear on the screen.
• Click on the link that reads ‘Single Girl Child – 10th Class’.
• Fill out the application form and click on submit option.
