This initiative is part of the nationwide efforts leading up to Swachh Bharat Diwas on October 2, 2024, a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary. The campaign is jointly organized by the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, and the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs.

CBSE urges schools to join Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign 2024, promoting cleanliness with various activities ahead of Swachh Bharat Diwas on October 2.

Theme for SHS 2024: “Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskaar Swachhata”

  • Recognizing the vital contributions of sanitation workers.
  • Celebrating a decade of Swachh Bharat achievements.
  • Reaffirming the commitment to Sampoorna Swachhata or total cleanliness.
