Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), launched on October 2, 2014, marked a pivotal moment in India’s journey towards enhanced swachhata. In the years following, the world witnessed crores of citizens across India unite to power up the world’s largest public campaign for cleanliness.
Over the past decade, SBM has made remarkable strides, enhancing the dignity of women, improving health outcomes, boosting school attendance among girls, and fostering the growth of small and micro-entrepreneurs.
The theme for Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 is Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskaar Swachhata. And, what better than a quiz on swachhata. Now here’s your chance to answer some interesting questions on the world’s largest swachhata programme. Are you ready to test your knowledge? Let’s get started!

1. The quiz will be conducted in English.
2. The quiz will last for 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which you need to answer up to 10 questions.
How to Participate in Quiz
1. Log on quiz.mygov.in to start with the quiz right away! For more information on the Mission, please visit: https://sbmurban.org/
2. Answer all the questions carefully. The scores will be added based on the participants ability to answer correctly. There is no negative marking.
3. Each user will only get one chance to play the quiz.
4. The participant can play via mobile number or with an email ID. Each mobile number and email address may only be used once for participation.
5. By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the mentioned Terms and Conditions.
6. Upon successful completion, participants will be able to download a digital certificate acknowledging their participation and completion of the Swachhata quiz.
Terms and Conditions
1. Quiz is open for all Indian Citizens.
2. Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’.
3. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
4. Participants will be required to provide their name, email address, telephone number, and additional details as required by the entry form. By submitting their details and participating in the quiz, participants give consent to MyGov and Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to use this information as required to facilitate the conduct of the quiz competition which may include confirmation of participant details.
5. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
6. Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc., during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.
7. Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the quiz, are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
8. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and MyGov reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.
9. Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and MyGov will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s responsibility.
10. The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates.
11. The decision of the Department/Ministry and MyGov on the Quiz shall be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
12. All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
13. By participating in the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above mentioned terms and conditions.
14. The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
