ICCR Begins Registrations for Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme

Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme: Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Ministry of External Affairs has started the registration process for the Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme. Individuals willing to apply for the scholarship can apply at the official website a2scholarships.iccr.gov.in.

Required Qualification for ABV Scholarship

Students must be Indian citizens to be eligible to apply for this scholarship. The age of the students should be between 18 to 25. The annual family income of the candidate should not exceed 6 lakhs. The grade of the student’s final examination cannot be less than 50%. Also, the minimum attendance rate of the candidates should be 75%. Distance learning is not eligible for this scholarship.

What is the Last Date of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme

The registration process started on February 20 and will close on April 30. As per the official notification, the ICCR A2R portal is now open and the universities will have time till May 31 to notify the selected candidates.

You can apply for this scholarship from today. Students who want to apply have been given time till 30 April 2023. Through this Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme, students can study from graduation to PhD.

As per the recently released notification, the Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship can be applied online only. The deadline for the preparation of offer letters and disbursement of scholarships for Indian missions abroad is June 30. Candidates can accept the offer letter till 15th July.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scholarship Award

This scholarship is given only to middle-class scholars. Students getting this scholarship to get 10 thousand rupees every year. If the candidate has got 85% marks in 12th, then they are given Rs 25000 per month.

The age limit for the graduation program is 18 to 25 years for Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme. 

Note: If seats are available after the first round, the last date for the award of scholarships to other students. Candidates who are applying for the scholarship program must be proficient in English and must be between 18-25 years for undergraduate programs and 18-45 years for PhD programs.
