My dear Mother / Father
How are you? I am fine. I am through with my examinations. You will be glad to know that I have done well. Apart from studies, I want to get engaged in some extra activity.
Our school is organising an educational tour of Dharamshala Himachal Pradesh during the summer vacation. Mr. Sartaj Singh our sports teacher, will accompany us on this tour. It is a one week tour and we plan to visit many places. In Dharamshala, we plan to stay for 7 days, and we intend to visit Dalai Lama Temple Complex, Cricket Stadium, Budhist Montessories and International Liabrary. We also propose to visit Bhagsunag Temple. The school shall bear all the expenses for lodging. We shall have to pay only for the fare and the food.
It is an outdoor activity for which I was waiting for a longer period of time. Mumma / papa, it is a great opportunity for me to go sightseeing and I would not like to miss it. I sincerely hope you will allow me to join the tour. Some of my friends will also accompany me.
I am really very excited about the tour.
