IMD’s Orange Alert: Chennai and Neighbours on High Vigilance
Weather Warnings: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) isn’t taking any chances. They’ve issued an orange alert for Chennai and nearby regions on December 2 and 3. Expect waterlogged streets and the usual traffic hassles.
The Cyclone’s Journey: This isn’t your average storm. Cyclone Michaung is predicted to hit as a depression by December 2 and evolve into a full-blown cyclonic storm by December 3. It’s moving west-northwest and could carry significant intensity.
