New Delhi, 15th September 2023 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) reaffirms the importance of the Self-assessment on SQAAF portal, as disclosed in the recent Circular No. Acad-107/2023. This comes as a continuation to the earlier circular no. 14/2023 dated 24th March 2023, available on CBSE’s SARAS portal.

Starting from the academic session of 2024-25, CBSE has made it obligatory for schools to submit applications for new affiliations, switchover, upgradation, or extensions via SQAAF. Furthermore, every affiliated school must conduct a self-assessment on the SQAAF Portal, with the assessment window open from 1st April to 31st December each year.

Schools Get a Chance to Revise Part C of SARAS after Informative Webinars

To help schools grasp the SQAAF process, the Board has successfully conducted 13 webinars, all of which are now accessible on the YouTube Channel of the Board’s academic unit. These webinars have played a pivotal role in clarifying the details of SQAAF for many institutions.

Taking cognizance of the requests from numerous schools, CBSE is offering an opportunity for schools to revisit and, if necessary, modify Part C (SQAAF) in SARAS. Schools that have already filled out Part C can make the desired changes up until 30th September 2023. For guidance on revising Part C, schools are directed to refer to Annexure A.

The Board encourages schools with queries or concerns to reach out directly via email at sqaa@cbseshiksha.in.

Guide: How to Edit Previously Entered Data in SQAAF for Schools

In light of the recent circular from CBSE, many schools might be keen on revisiting and editing the data they have previously entered in the SQAAF. The process to do this is relatively simple and straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide for schools to amend the data:

Step 1: Access the Portal

Step 2: Log in to the System

Schools have the flexibility to log in using one of two methods:

  • i. Use the LOC credentials to sign in to the SQAAF Portal.
  • ii. Alternatively, you can also log in using your designated cbseshiksha.in email ID.

Step 3: Dashboard Access

  • Once you have successfully logged in, you will be presented with the dashboard screen.
  • Here, click on the “Self-Assessment” button.

Step 4: Edit the Data

  • A new screen will then pop up. Here, you can view and edit your previously entered responses.
  • To do this, simply click on the “View” button.

Step 5: Finalizing Edits

  • Post clicking the “View” button, various screens will appear depending on the data you wish to edit.
  • Navigate through these screens to edit the desired responses.

Remember, it’s very important to cross-check and verify all the edited data before saving changes to ensure accuracy. For any technical difficulties or queries related to the portal, always refer to the portal’s support or help section.

We hope this guide aids schools in seamlessly editing their data on the SQAAF portal. Best of luck!
