26 January Republic Day 2022: Republic Day is the national festival of India. It is celebrated every year on 26 January. On the occasion of Republic Day in the country, programs are held in schools and colleges and this day is also a national holiday.

When was the Indian Constitution implemented?

The Constitution of India was implemented in the year 1950. The Constitution of India was adopted by the Constituent Assembly of India on 26 November 1949 to become an independent republic and establish the rule of law in the country. The Constitution was implemented on 26 January 1950 with a democratic government system. That is, the constitution came into Action after 2 years 11 months, and 18 days. India was declared a full republic on this day.
