December 14 marks the annual celebration of National Energy Conservation Day, which has been celebrated since 1991. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), which is a part of the Ministry of Power, leads this important day.

The goal of the competition is to make everyone aware of how important it is to save energy and to use it wisely.

This year, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), in collaboration with MyGov, is inviting everyone to showcase their creativity. They are hosting a Poster Making Competition with the theme “Energy Conservation – A Way of Life.” This event is more than just a contest; it offers a unique opportunity for participants to employ their artistic talents to convey a significant message about the importance of saving energy in our everyday lives.

Poster Making Competition on Energy Conservation Terms and Conditions

1. Poster should submitted in a PDF or JPEG image file only. The participants may hand draw/sketch the poster on A3 or A4pagesor create a digital poster through design software.

2. All submissions must be original and not infringe upon any existing copyrights or trademarks.

3. All entries must be submitted through the www.mygov.inportal only. Entries submitted through any other medium/mode will not be considered for evaluation.

4. Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) shall not be responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, or could not be submitted due to any issue/error, technical or otherwise, which is beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note that the ‘proof of submission’ of the entry is not the ‘proof of receipt’ of the same.

5. BEE reserve the right to disqualify and/or refuse/restrict theparticipation of anyone, if, in their reasonable assessment, suchparticipation and/or association of any participant is detrimental to the contest and/or organizers and/or partners of the contest.

6. BEE will reserve the right to use the submitted material inexternal communication and knowledge products giving due credit tothecreator. Participants may be required to furnish proof of identityif requested.

7. By participating in the competition, winners agree to usetheirname and submissions for publicity and promotional purposesrelated to the competition. Further, each participant will berequired to provide their name, email address, telephone numberand postal address for submitting their entry.

8. One participant can submit a maximum of one entry only. Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn.

9. Registration shall be void if the information received by the organizers is illegible, incomplete, damaged, false or erroneous.

10.In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the contest at any time, including the terms and conditions.
