PGCIL Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Applicants must complete ITI (Electrical) in the electrician trade from a recognized technical board or institution to be eligible for PGCIL Recruitment 2023. Higher technical qualification such as diploma, BE or BTech without ITI is not allowed during the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) application process or on joining.
The maximum age limit for applying is 27 years as on 12/12/2023. Age relaxation norms apply to candidates belonging to special categories. The PGCIL written examination is expected to be held in January 2024.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) Salary for Junior Technician Trainee
Selected candidates as Junior Technician Trainee in PGCIL will get a stipend of Rs 18,500 per month during the training period. After training, they will be inducted as Junior Technician (W-3) with a salary scale of Rs 21,500 to Rs 74,000 (IDA). Upon regularisation, other benefits such as dearness allowance, various allowances and benefits, provident fund, gratuity, pension and leave encashment along with basic pay will be available.
