Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was born in Amritsar on April 21, 1621, to Mata Nanki and Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh guru, who raised an army against the Mughals and introduced the concept of warrior saints.

Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji gave up his life (Shaheedi) to protect the rights of people from a different religion. In 1675, the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb ordered him to be beheaded. This sad event happened in Delhi, at a place called Chandni Chowk.

Guru ji Born in Amritsar Sahib. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was the youngest son of Guru Hargobind Ji. the sixth guru, who introduced the concept of warrior saints. Growing up, Tegh Bahadur Ji learned Gurmukhi, Hindi, Sanskrit, and religious philosophy and was also trained in swordsmanship and archery.

Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is considered a scholar and a poet who made valuable contributions to the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of Sikhism.
