NCET 2023 Registration: Last Date Extended for The Teacher Education Entrance test, Read Details
Deadline Extended for NCET 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially extended the application deadline for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2023. Candidates may submit their application for the exam on or before July 25 at ncet.samarth.ac.in.
The NCET test serves as an admission gateway to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) offered at selected Central or State Universities, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges. The new deadline for submitting the application forms is 11:30 PM on July 25.
Applying Online for NCET 2023 @ncet.samarth.ac.in
Interested candidates can complete their NCET 2023 online application forms by visiting the official website of NTA, which is nta.ac.in, or directly through the NCET portal at ncet.samarth.ac.in. The final deadline to pay the required application fees is 11:50 PM on July 25.
Making Changes in the NCET Application Form
Applicants will have the opportunity to make any necessary changes to their submitted applications between July 26 and July 27.

Steps to Apply for NCET 2023
To apply for NCET 2023, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit the official website ncet.samarth.ac.in
- Click on the register tab on the homepage
- Enter personal details such as name, mobile number, email address
- Login using the provided application number and password
- Complete the application form and upload the necessary documents
- Save, submit and pay the required fees
- Download a copy of the completed application form for future reference
The application fee varies depending on the candidate’s category, with Rs 1200 for open category, Rs 1000 for OBC-NCL and EWS, and Rs 650 for SC, ST, PwBD and Third Gender candidates.
NCET Examination Help Centres and Public Notice
To facilitate wider participation and assist aspiring applicants, NTA has opened a total of 34 NCET 2023 Examination Help Centres throughout India. NTA aims to extend the availability of online application forms for NCET 2023, as outlined in Public Notice dated: June 26, 2023.

NCET 2023 Examination Refund of Duplicate Fees
Refunds for any duplicate fees will be initiated only after reconciling all candidates’ fee data as received from the concerned Banks or Payment Gateways Integrators with the data captured during the online Application Form process for NCET 2023.

NTA has advised candidates against submitting more than one Application Form. Any candidate found with more than one Application Number will be treated as engaging in Unfair Means (UFM), attracting strict actions.

Eligibility Criteria for NCET 2023
To be eligible for NCET 2023, candidates should have completed class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized Board. Candidates currently appearing in their 12th class exam are also eligible to apply. Detailed eligibility requirements can be found on the institute’s website.
NCET 2023 Exam Pattern
The NCET 2023 exam will be conducted online in a computer-based test format across 13 different languages. The multiple-choice exam is divided into four sections.
NCET 2023 Examination Candidates must select two languages from a list of 33 for Section 1, with 20 questions in each selected language.
In Section 2, participants select three subjects from a list of 26, each subject containing 25 questions. Section 3 is a general test with 25 questions, while Section 4, consisting of 20 questions, assesses the candidates’ instructional skills.
