In line with NEP 2020’s focus on cyber safety education, integrating secure digital gaming practices into school programs is essential. As online gaming grows popular among students, they must understand the importance of protecting personal information and practicing responsible online behavior.
Teaching students about risks like cyberbullying, online fraud, and identity theft prepares them to respond effectively. Incorporating digital literacy skills—such as creating strong passwords and managing privacy settings—empowers students to navigate gaming platforms safely. Additionally, promoting ethical gaming, respect for privacy, and positive online behavior fosters responsible digital citizenship and ensures a safe, supportive environment for students to enjoy gaming responsibly.
