The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes the importance of integrating cyber safety education into school curriculums. As our society becomes increasingly digitized, Cyber Parenting plays a crucial role in ensuring that children navigate the internet safely and responsibly.

The upcoming online training on “Cyber Parenting,” organized by CIET-NCERT in collaboration with ISEA, CDAC, and MeitY, aims to empower parents, teachers, and students with the necessary skills and knowledge to foster a safe digital environment.

Why is Cyber Parenting Training Important?

How Does Cyber Parenting Protect Children?

In today’s digital world, children are exposed to various online risks such as cyberbullying, online predators, and inappropriate content. Cyber Parenting training equips parents with the tools to safeguard their children against these threats.

By setting clear boundaries, promoting open communication, and encouraging responsible online behavior, parents can ensure that their children explore the digital world in a safe and positive manner.

What Will Participants Learn?

The training will cover essential topics such as the role of parents in the digital age, cyberbullying prevention, and balancing screen time with real life. Participants will also learn about educational apps, and parental control tools to manage digital access effectively.

This knowledge will help parents stay informed about the ever-changing digital landscape, enabling them to guide their children towards becoming responsible digital citizens.
