Student 1: Good morning, respected Principal, teachers, and my dear fellow students! With these motivational lines, a very pleasant morning to one and all present here. I have the honor of conducting today’s morning assembly on the theme of literacy.
Student 2: That’s right! Today is the 8th of September. Every year, International Literacy Day is celebrated globally to raise awareness and remind people of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights. “Literacy is not just spelling, reading, or math. There is so much more. I wake up every day and wonder, what new things will I learn today? Because literacy is beyond reading and writing.”
