The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) in Dehradun, has announced a special online course on “Space Technology and Its Applications” exclusively for school teachers. This initiative aims to enhance teachers’ knowledge and bring space technology into the classroom.
What is the Course About?
The course covers various aspects of space technology and its applications, designed specifically for TGT (Trained Graduate Teachers) and PGT (Post Graduate Teachers). The program will be conducted online from June 10, 2024, to June 14, 2024.
What is the Registration Process?
Step 1: Registration – Register for the course by providing your details carefully, especially your email ID and mobile number. Upon successful submission, you will receive a registration number.
Step 2: Account Activation – Activate your account by clicking on the link sent to your email. This verification process will make your application available for selection.
Step 3: Application Review – The course coordinator or director will review your application and verify the submitted documents. You will receive approval or rejection via email.
Step 4: Login Credentials – Approved participants will receive login credentials for the IIRS E-CLASS platform and Examination Portal.

What Are the Course Features?

How is Attendance Recorded?

What is the Examination Process?
The online examination will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and True/False statements. Participants must meet the minimum attendance criteria to be eligible. Examination details will be provided within two weeks of course completion.
How Will Certificates be Issued?
Certificates will be issued within 2-3 weeks after the examination. They can be accessed through the E-CLASS login or provided by the coordinator of the networked institution.
