NOS Registration Will Start Tomorrow

As per the information shared by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, the registration for National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) Scheme is starting from February 15, 2023.

NOS is a Central Sector Scheme aimed at facilitating low-income students belonging to scheduled castes, denotified nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes, landless agricultural labourers and traditional artisan categories to pursue higher education abroad.

Under this, interested and eligible candidates can fill out the online form by visiting the official website of the Ministry by March 31.

What is the Process?

As per the official notification, “Interested candidates have a chance to register for submission of online application through National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) Scheme portal from 15-02-2023 to 31-03-2023 (Midnight).

All interested candidates are advised They are advised to refer to the Scheme Guidelines of NOS (SC) 2023-24 which is available on the portal before submitting the application.

Who Will get the Benefit?

National Overseas Scholarship Scheme is a special scheme of the Central Government, aimed at the Scheduled Castes (SC), Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Laborers and Traditional Artisans category.

To facilitate the concerned low-income students to pursue higher education abroad.

For which Courses is this NOS Scheme?

The NOS scheme provides financial assistance to the selected candidates for pursuing Master’s level courses and Ph. Every year, these scholarships are awarded to 125 deserving candidates.

Eligible candidates can submit the form by March 31 at nosmsje.gov.in.
