The Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IITH) is introducing an all-inclusive Sanskrit certificate program, named “Prathama-diksha”. Organized by the Non-Formal Sanskrit Education Center (#NFSE) and supported by the Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, this initiative offers everyone an opportunity to delve into India’s linguistic heritage.

For a fee of just INR 1200, participants will receive all necessary study materials provided by the Central Sanskrit University. The entire program, inclusive of study material from the Central Sanskrit University, is priced at INR 1200. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate from the Central Sanskrit University.

Shri Avijit Ghosh, the course instructor, plans to hold an orientation to walk prospective learners through the syllabus and other course specifics. He emphasizes that the course will commence right from the basics, starting with reading and writing Sanskrit.
