The Government of India has designated this day to commemorate the remarkable success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, which made history by achieving the safe and soft landing of the Vikram lander at the Shiv Shakti point, along with the deployment of the Pragyaan Rover on the lunar surface on August 23rd, 2023.

Bharat on the Moon Portal: Students should be encouraged to register on the Bharat on the Moon portal at Bharat on the Moon and actively participate in the various engaging activities available there.
Competitions and Guest Speakers: Schools are advised to conduct quiz and painting competitions related to space themes. Additionally, inviting eminent personalities to speak on India’s space achievements can greatly inspire students.
