Fit India Quiz 2022 is a step towards strengthening the Fit India Movement. The main objective of this Fit India Quiz is to propagate the message of the Fit India Movement among school children and to create awareness among the students about the rich sports history of India. He said, “The Fit India Quiz is part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ initiative of the Central Government to celebrate the 75th year of India’s independence and aims at providing a platform to the students to showcase their knowledge about fitness and sports. To provide a national platform. This is the first and biggest initiative of its kind by the government.”
Fit India Quiz Competition 2022 Registration Started for All Board School Students.Â
The Fit India Movement was launched in August 2019 to popularize fitness as a way of life among citizens. Envisioned as a People’s Movement, the endeavour has been to inculcate the philosophy that fitness is Free, Fun and Easy among citizens of all age groups – from school children to senior citizens.
Fit India Quiz Awareness By Sports Authority of India
In a bid to further reiterate the need to create awareness about fitness and sports among school children, who are the future of India, the Fit India Mission under the aegis of the Sports Authority of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has decided to launch second edition of Fit India Quiz for schools across the country. The registrations for schools to participate have started from 03.09.2022 on Fit India website https://fitindia.gov.in

Fit India Quiz objectives
The objective of the quiz is to provide a national platform for students to showcase their knowledge about fitness and sports, also endeavours in its philosophy to create awareness among students about India’s rich sporting history, including centuries old indigenous sports, our national and regional sporting heroes of the past and how traditional Indian lifestyle activities hold the key to a Fit Life in all.

Fit India Quiz QuestionsÂ
The questions in the State and National rounds will also include audio-visual and image-based questions to make the quiz interactive and interesting. The preliminary round will also have image- based questions.
The Fit India Quiz will have questions from multiple themes as outlined below.
- History of Indian Sports, Traditional Sports and Games, Yoga, Personalities etc
- Fitness topics with special emphasis on Indian traditional fitness methods.
- Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Khelo India Games and other popular sports.
The State and National rounds of the quiz will have innovative concepts such as ‘phone a teacher/ parent, Ask an Expert, Flip a Question, Trump Card etc. to make it fun, interactive and engaging for the audience. The quiz will also have multi-formats featuring buzzer rounds and audio/video recognition round, etc.
Fit India Quiz Prizes
The quiz is the second edition of the National Level Quiz for students which will give out a total cash award of Rs.3.25 crore to schools and students.
Fit India Quiz RoundsÂ
There will be four rounds of the Fit India Quiz 2022 :
1. School Round: To be conducted by the school to select students for registration in the Fit India Quiz Preliminary
2. Round. Preliminary Round: To be a multiple-choice questions round conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The country wide quiz will be organized in 13 languages.
3. State Round: To be conducted by each State/ UT with the support from Fit India Mission amongst schools qualified after the preliminary round. This round will be anchored by a professional quiz master and will be telecasted on Fit India Mission’s social media handles.
4. National Round: Final round in which the winning team of each State/ UT will participate and fight for the Top Title of the National Winner of FIT INDIA QUIZ 2022. The first and second runner-up prizes will also be decided.

What will be the Role of Schools in Fit India Quiz 2022?Â
- Schools will be the major drivers for the propagation and promotion of fit India quizzes within their respective schools which will be essential for greater success and participation of the students.
- Schools will be responsible for registering at least two students for the quiz on the Fit India website and ensuring a fair selection process for the identification of the students.
- Schools will have to pay a registration fee per student for the fit India Quiz.
- The qualified school should at its discretion nominate an additional student from the respective school as a fit India quiz partner for the State Round to form a team of two quizzers.
- Schools are to follow the guidelines available on the Fit India website.
- Schools should make necessary arrangements in case of travel etc. for the students.
Schools which are desirous of applying may go through the Information Bulletin and apply online only at https://fitindia.nta.ac.in and also pay the application fee online during the period from 03.09.2022 to 15.10.2022 using Debit/Credit Cards/Net Banking/Paytm.
