CBSE Practical exams 2023: Class 10th and 12th practical exam date
CBSE Latest Circular: CBSE Class 10th, 12th Board Exam 2023: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) informed on Saturday that for the session 2022-23, practical Exams or practical examinations, project work, and internal assessments of class 10th and class 12th are all concerned. For schools will start on January 1.
CBSE Controller of Examinations Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj has said in a letter to the principals that the cbse practical examination, internal assessment, and project work in the schools located in winter areas, which are closed in January, is to be completed in November-December 2022 only.
Know when the CBSE Board exam will be held
As per the provisions of the CBSE Board’s Examination Bye-Laws/ Scheme, the Practical Examination/ Project/ Internal Assessment for the session 2022-23 is scheduled from January 1, 2023, for all affiliated schools in India and abroad. However, schools located in winter areas are likely to remain closed in the month of January due to the winter season.
Practical Examination/Project/Internal Assessment for Winter-bound Schools for the session 2022-23 is to be conducted from 15 November 2022 to 14 December 2022 for the session 2022-23.
The CBSE Circular issued by the board to the head teachers reads, ‘As per the provisions of the examination bye-laws/ scheme of the board, practical examination/project/internal for the session 2022-23 for all affiliated schools in India and abroad with effect from January 1, 2023. have been determined. However, schools located in winter areas are likely to remain closed in the month of January due to the winter season.
“These dates and instructions are only for schools in winter and are not applicable for regular session schools, for which a separate circular will be issued,” the CBSE notification said.
The CBSE board has also issued instructions to the schools to facilitate the smooth conduct of the practical examinations. Meanwhile, the theory papers for the year 2023 batch will start in February itself. The detailed date sheet in this regard is expected to be released soon.
