Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is an initiative of Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an institution under the Ministry of Education. VVM is a national program for popularizing science among school students of standard VI to XI, conceptualised to identify the bright minds with a scientific aptitude among the student community.
STRUCTURE OF VVM (JUN IOR AND SENIOR):
1 School Leval Examination: VVM is a unique online examination to be conducted at national level. The registered students will take the exam using his/her own digital device namely a laptop/tablet / smart phone (mobile with any OS – Except Apple devices) with internet connectivity.
Level – 1 (School Level) examination will be conducted nationwide, on 30 November and/or on 5 December, 2021 anytime between 10:00arn to 8:00pm. Evaluation of student will be based on their individual performance at every level
2. State level Camp: Top 20 ranker per class per state will be identified participate in the one or two days State Level National camp (SLC).The Camp will be organised anywhere within the state.
3. National Camp: From each state Camp, top two students finm each class ie. total 12 students per state, wilt be invited to a two-day National Camp.
CBSE Released Notification Regarding 10th Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2021-22
Vigyan Prasar, a National Institute for Science and Technology Communication established under Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, in association with National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) and Vijnana Bharati, is conducting the 10th Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2021-22 for school students of classes VI to XI on 30th November 2021 and 5th December 2021.
VVM 2021-22 will be India’s first open-book science talent search examination to be held in 12 Indian languages and designed to be carried out using digital devices (App based). This 90 minute examination can be attempted by the students on any of the exam dates between 10:00 am to 8:00 pm from the comfort of their home and following all COVID norms.
Moreover, this year VVM is coming up with Mega Nation-wide Experiment based on the food habits of students, the nutritional value of the consumed food, and its environmental impact will continue this year as well.

ABOUT DEVICES AND INTERNET FACILITY: All the students will appear for the examination using their own devices with internet connectivity from their home. Students will have to ensure time-to-time update of VVM Exam App. They must also ensure that they use the same device that they had used to attempt mock exams. They should make sure that the device is fully charged and App is working properly if they are using any other device.

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan EXAM APPLICATION (APP) DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION:
Once the registration process is complete, the Exam App will be made available for download from the prole page of the student. The App will be installed and will function properly only if the registered device (laptop / tablet / mobile) details are correct or it is downloaded according to the operating system of the desired device from student’s prole page. The prole page will contain detailed instructions for App download and installation. Request support link will be available in case of any issues. Once the App is downloaded, the user will have the option to test the same by attempting Mock Exams. Students will have to update it regularly and for this purpose he/she will have to allow push notication from this App to update notications
