CBSE Circular: Webinar on “Swami Vivekanand’s Teachings: Relevance for Today’s Students”
CBSE Latest News: The Central Board of Secondary Education is organizing a webinar on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a prolific thinker, great orator and one of the most celebrated spiritual leaders of India on his birth anniversary.
Swami Vivekananda, known as Narendranath in his earlier years, worked tirelessly towards betterment of the society, dedicating his all for his country. He founded the Ramakrishna Mission on May 1, 1897 at Belur Math near Calcutta, through which he spread his message of universal brotherhood and self-awakening which remains relevant even today, especially in the current backdrop of widespread turmoil around the world.
Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and his words have become goals of self-improvement, especially for the youth of the country. For this very reason, his birthday, January 12, is celebrated as ‘National Youth Day’ in India.
