CBSE Practical Exams Schedule and Rules
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the 10th and 12th practical examinations of 2024. These CBSE Board Exam are scheduled to start from January 1 and will continue until February 14, 2024.
As per the rules issued by the board, schools are required to upload the marks of all practical exams together. It is crucial for teachers to be accurate and careful while uploading the students’ marks.

Schools must ensure basic arrangements for the CBSE Practical Exams on their own. The CBSE has clarified that 10th grade practical answer sheets will not be distributed to students, and schools do not need to send these answer sheets to the regional office after the exams.

For the practical exams and project assessments of certain subjects, the board will appoint external examiners in every school. An observer will also be appointed for the practical examination to ensure smooth conduct.
Immediate Action Required for Missing Student Names
In cases where a student’s name is missing from the subject list, schools are urged to contact the regional office immediately. The CBSE Board emphasizes that there will be no opportunity for students to improve their marks once they are uploaded, highlighting the importance of accuracy in the initial marking process.
