Welcome to Shikshapress. Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and AICTE has launched School Innovation Ambassador Training Program in collaboration with CBSE and EMRS of Ministry of Tribal Affairs. Under this program, the teachers shall be trained on the following five modules.

About SIATP – School Innovation Ambassador Training Program

Teacher Training: New Education Policy has laid huge emphasis on promoting out of the box thinking amongst students. To achieve this goal, the role of a teacher is highly significant. The teachers should become mentors and guide these young minds in their pursuit of innovation and entrepreneurship. Thus, it is equally crucial for mentors to have adequate mentoring skills.

School Innovation Ambassador Program An Initiative by Ministry of Education & Ministry of tribal Affairs Implemented by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE and CBSE

With this aim, School Innovation Ambassador program has been conceptualised by Ministry of Education Innovation Cell and All India Council for Technical Education to train the school teachers across country who will nurture the young school students on Ideation, IPR, product development, design thinking, problemsolving and critical thinking.

Training Modules: Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and AICTE has launched this online ‘School Innovation Ambassador Training Program’.

In this program, the teachers shall be trained on the following five modules:

  1. Design Thinking & Innovation
  2. Idea generation & Idea hand-holding
  3. Intellectual Property Rights
  4. Finance, HR and Sales
  5. Entrepreneurship & Product / Prototype Development

Role of the ‘Innovation Ambassadors’

  • Help in creating the culture of Innovation in their respective schools
  • Mentor the teachers and students of their respective schools and nearby schools
  • Provide support to other schools as resource person
  • Spread the message of innovation and start-ups among the students and faculties.
  • Act as an evaluator for Idea Competitions conducted at national level.
  • Act as a Mentor for the national level program on Innovation and related activities.

Nominate the teachers with following qualities for SIATP:

  • Involved in developing innovative student projects.
  • Has passion for working with students on developing new ideas.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and analytical Skills
  • Participated in any science/innovation exhibition, hackathons and idea competitions etc.

Note- There is no limit on nomination of teachers number

Nomination and Registration Process:

The School have to nominate teachers through School Innovation Ambassador website: https://sia.mic.gov.in . The training will be provided on first come first serve basis.

• One stop platform for School Innovation Ambassador Training Program

• Teachers Login : All the nominated teachers from schools and SPOCs (Single Point of Contact)can login with their registered email ID and Default password (siatp@2021) to attend the training modules.

• SPOC/ School Login: To nominate teachers from the school to attend the training. Login with Registered SPOC email

• New School Registration: New schools can register and nominate their teachers for this training.

Scroll down to access login page – Teachers Login : All the nominated teachers from schools and SPOCs (Single Point of Contact) can login with their registered email ID and default password (provided separately on your registered email) to attend the training modules.

SPOC/ School Login: To nominate teachers from the school to attend the training.

New School Registration: New schools can register and nominate their teachers for this training.

• On the left panel, teachers can access their School’s Unique ID (SIC******) & Teacher’s Unique Innovation Ambassador ID (SIA*****)

• Home: contains all the five module and information on how & where to attend the training. All the 4 modules except Design Thinking & Innovation are now available at SIATP Website for training under teachers login

• Profile: Teacher’s can see and update their Name, and contact details here. The email can’t be updated by teachers, only SPOC can update the same.

• Reset Password: Teachers can update their passwords here.

• Download certificate: after completion of training teachers can download their certificate here, once released by MIC.

• Signout: to logout from the session

 Q: Who are eligible to be nominated for School Innovation Ambassador training Program?

A: All the teachers of schools.

Q: Who can Nominate the Teachers?

A: Single Point of Contact (SPOC) from School can nominate the teachers. Preferably Principal / Vice Principal or Senior School Teacher should be the SPOC.

Q:Can Individual teachers register themselves for training?

A: No. Only SPOC should register the teachers on SIA portal.

Q: What does SIATP stands for

A: School Innovation Ambassador Training Program.

Q: Can SPOC, Principal, Vice – Principal be nominated for SIATP training?

A: Yes

Q: Who can login on SIATP website?

A: Registered SPOC (in SPOC Login) & Nominated Teachers (Teachers Training Console).

Q:Can SPOC be changed after registration?

A: Yes. The existing SPOC can nominate the new SPOC in SPOC login. During new SPOC Nomination, the verification link will be sent on new email and SPOC can’t login without verifying the email.

Q: My SPOC has left the school, what to do?

A: Principal / Vice Principal can login with the existing SPOC email and nominate new SPOC.

Q: Can I nominate more than five teachers for SIATP training?

A: Yes

Q: Will nominated teachers get separate login ID, password for attending the training on SIATP website?

A: Yes. The nominated teachers can login with the registered email ID and default password (siatp@2021) in teacher’s login on https://sia.mic.gov.in/

Q:What will be the timing for training

A: All the five training module are self paced and teachers can attend them at their convenience before the date of completion.

Q: What is the role of SPOC.

A: Nominate teachers from the school, and help/guide them to attend the training on https://sia.mic.gov.in/.

Q: SPOC have registered teacher with wrong details can SPOC delete or edit the details?

A: Yes. Use the Edit or Delete option in front of the concerned teacher in your SIA login dashboard.

Q: How to access the School Innovation Ambassador Training Program (SIATP) Modules?

A: Login with your registered Email ID on the website https://sia.mic.gov.in

Q: What is a Registered Email ID?

A: All the teachers nominated by the Schools through the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) are the registered/ nominated teachers and the email given during teacher’s nomination is the registered email ID.

Q: I forgot my registered Email ID. Can I retrieve it?

A: Contact the SPOC. SPOCs can see the details of all the nominated teachers from their school including the registered Email ID.

Q: SPOC forgot their email ID, what to do?

A: SPOC shall write the email to their regional coordinator with the following details. SIC ID (unique ID given by MIC, appears in SPOC login) or (Name, School Name, City, State, CBSE Affiliation Number).

Q: Who are the regional coordinators?

A: Regional coordinators are the officers from the Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education managing the four regions. For more details visit the contact us page: https://sia.mic.gov.in/contact-us

Q: What are the regions?

A: Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education has segregated the schools state-wise and clubbed them under four regions. Find more details on the contact us page: https://sia.mic.gov.in/contact-us

Q: I am unable to log in with my registered email, what to do?

A: Contact your SPOC and verify if the email you are trying with appears in the SPOC login.

Q: My Email is appearing in SPOC login, still I am not able to log in.

A: Use the forgot password on the teacher’s login page to reset your password. SPOC can also reset the password of their teachers by clicking on the reset password given in front of the teacher’s details under SPOC login.

Q: When I try to log in on the SIATP website to attend training, it gives an error that “There is no account with email..” what to do?

A: This means your email is not registered. Ask your SPOC to nominate/ register you. After registration, you can log in under the teacher’s login on the SIATP website. Keep Visiting FAQs.
