CBSE Science Exhibition Participation Details

The Science Exhibition 2024 is open for CBSE students from classes 6 to 11, divided into two categories. Category I includes junior students from Classes 6-8, while Category II comprises senior students from Classes 9-11.

CBSE Science Exhibition Additional Points for Participants

  • Every registered school team should comprise a maximum of two students from the same category and one mentor science teacher.
  • Schools can register up to two teams.
  • Once registered, no changes in the student names, mentor teacher, sub-theme, or project title are permissible.
  • Projects can range from investigation-based studies to innovative solutions or indigenous designs to specific challenges.

Regional and National Levels of Science Exhibition 2024

The exhibition will initially be held at various regional venues, details of which will be available on the CBSE website. Following this, the best exhibits from each regional venue will participate at the national level. The top ten entries (subject to variation based on quality) from each regional level will qualify for the national exhibition.

Recognition and Opportunities for CBSE Science Exhibition 2024 Winners

Winners of the CBSE National Science Exhibition may get the chance to participate in the “Rashtriya Bal Vaigyaanik Pradarshani, 2023” organized by NCERT. They might also get an opportunity to be a part of the Science Exhibition hosted by the Initiative for Research & Innovation in Science (IRIS), contingent upon their selection.
