Press Release – CBSE Post-Result Annual Psychosocial Counseling Commences for Class X/XII Examinees

CBSE has started the second phase of its Post-Result Annual Psychosocial Counseling for Class 10 and 12 students. This follows the first phase of counselling held during the exams. The current phase offers free support to both students and their parents. It will run for 15 days and continue until 28 May 2025. This step aims to help students manage stress after their board exam results.

This initiative aims to support students and parents in dealing with stress after the results. The second phase of CBSE Post-Result Annual Psychosocial Counseling has now started. It involves a team of 65 qualified professionals. Among them, 51 are from India and 14 are based abroad. The team includes principals from CBSE schools. It also includes trained counsellors, special educators and psychologists. These experts are offering remote tele-counselling support on a voluntary basis.

Students and parents can use the counselling helpline by calling the toll-free number 1800-11-8004 from anywhere in India.

This number is active for everyone seeking help after results. Along with tele-counselling, the helpline also offers support through IVRS. It shares useful information and practical tips to deal with result-related stress. The service is easy to access and available to all students and parents.
