Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced the CBSE 10th latest sample papers and CBSE 12th Latest sample papers for the upcoming examinations. Those appearing for these CBSE examinations can now familiarize themselves with the updated pattern by checking the official website.
Detailed insights into the new pattern are available, and students have the convenience of downloading the CBSE sample papers free download from the website for their preparation.
A notable update this Friday from the CBSE Board highlighted that the Class 10th examinations will now feature 50 ability-based questions. On the other hand, Class 12th examinations will have 40 capacity questions.
This deviates from the previous CBSE sample paper guidelines, emphasizing that this year’s examinations will strictly adhere to the sample paper released on Friday.

For clarity, the sample paper released earlier was oriented around the 2022-23 exam pattern. Specifically, the CBSE sample papers for class 10 had 30 ability-based questions, while the CBSE sample papers for class 12 had 20 of the same type.

Deadline for LOC Deposit: September 18th, 2023

Without this LOC, students will not be permitted to appear in the board examination. A notice in this regard was recently released by the board, emphasizing that both students and teachers should adhere to the given deadline for LOC submission.
Strict Deadlines: No Extensions for LOC Applications
Post the 18th September deadline, the board will not entertain any applications from students. Furthermore, there will be no extensions provided for the LOC application date. It’s imperative for students and schools to stay updated and act promptly.
Registration for Private Students
The CBSE board has hinted at initiating the registration process for private students of classes 10th and 12th from September 11. While an official date hasn’t been set in stone, media reports suggest that the registration process will likely commence in the second week of September, around September 11.
