For CBSE, student registration in these classes is essential as it helps in the preparatory stages for the subsequent Class 10 and 12 examinations. CBSE pointed out their prior notification which clearly mentioned the importance of schools submitting accurate student and subject details since any post-registration alterations will not be accepted.

Students planning to sit for the 2024 Class 9 and 11 board exams can now complete their registrations till October 25, 2023, without incurring any late fee. However, a window from October 26 to October 29, 2023, is available for those registering late, albeit with the associated late fee.

School authorities can verify the modified schedule on CBSE’s official website. The official notice from CBSE states, “Considering various representations received from schools, the schedule for submission of registration data of Class 9, 11, 2023-24 has been extended.”
Guidelines on the Registration Process
Navigating to the CBSE Portal: Students must start by accessing the CBSE Pariksha Sangam portal at https://parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in/.
Portal Login: The portal requires a login using the school’s affiliation number and password. Schools yet to create an account can easily do so.
Form Completion: Once inside, a detailed registration form awaits, asking for student particulars like name, date of birth, and subject choices.
Uploading Essential Documents: Students are prompted to upload digital versions of their photo, signature, and school ID card.
Submission: With the form completed and necessary documents attached, students can finalize their registration.
CBSE also released a supplementary notice, emphasizing the importance of accurate data entry during registration. They flagged their previous reminders, making it clear that post-submission corrections, particularly in the List of Candidates (LOC), will be outright rejected.
