CBSE Announces Extension for Registration of Classes 9 and 11
CBSE Latest Circular: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has once again extended the last date for the registration of students in Classes 9 and 11 for the 2023-24 academic session. The new registration deadline is (as per the official notice) is now November 10, 2023.
Class 9th and 11th registration extension applies to those submitting without a late fee. Students and School authorities can verify this extension through the official notice available on the board’s website – cbse.gov.in.
Late Fee Submission Dates and Portal Information
Following the last date without a late fee, the window for submissions with a late fee opens from November 11, 2023, and will remain open until November 18, 2023. All registrations can be processed through the Pariksha Sangam portal at parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in. It’s important to note that the deadline was previously set for October 25, 2023, after an initial date of October 6, which was also deferred.
Required Documentation and CBSE’s Objective
Students of Classes 9 and 11 are advised to have necessary documents ready for the process. This includes scanned copies of their passport-sized photos, signatures, and school identity cards. The main objective behind this registration is CBSE’s planning for the Class 10 and 12 examinations, which these students will be appearing for in the subsequent years.

CBSE’s Previous Notice and Online Platforms
Earlier in the year, on September 12, 2023, CBSE had notified that the data of Class 9 and 11 students would be submitted on the OASIS platform. However, before initiating this process, existing CBSE Schools must first update their registration data on both the OASIS and HPE portals.
