CBSE Circular: 2nd CBSE EXPRESSION SERIES: ‘Tourism in India’ for the Session 2022-23. Submissions are invited for CBSE Expression Series 2022 on Tourism in India. The last date of submission is 12 October.

The theme for the Student-Enrichment activities conducted by the Board for the academic session 2022-23 is Vision for India @2047. In this context, on the occasion of Tourism Day, CBSE announces the 2nd Expression Series for the academic session 2022-23 on the theme of Tourism in India. Students can express their ideas on the theme.

Ideas for CBSE EXPRESSION SERIES

  • Primary (Class 3 to 5): Paragraph (150 words) / Painting. Topic- The tourist place I like most and why?
  • Middle (Class 6 to 8): Essay (400 words)/ Painting/ Poem. Topic- How would I promote tourism in my city/town?
  • Secondary (Class 9 to 10): Essay (700 words)/ Painting/ Poem. Topic- Ways through which tourism unites us all.
  • Senior Secondary (Class 11 to 12): Essay (1000 words)/Painting/ Poem. Topic- Promoting Sustainable Tourism is crucial for the vision of Developed India @ 2047.

Participation in CBSE EXPRESSION SERIES

  • Schools shall organise the school level Expression Series at their end on the above theme from 26th September 2022 to 12th October 2022. Information of conduct of the Expression Series should be given to all students.
  • For participation in Expression Series activities, i.e. Essays/ Paragraphs/ Paintings/Poems etc., please use participants’ sheet given as Annexure I or a sheet with all details as given therein.
  • The medium should be Hindi or English.
  • Schools shall complete the evaluation of entries and shortlist one entry per class category (total 04 entries from a school) for onward submission to CBSE.

Submission of Entries in CBSE EXPRESSION SERIES

  • Schools can submit/upload the entries from 13th October 2022 to 18th October 2022 using an android phone through CBSE Expression Series App available at Google Play store. For guidelines of the process of submission, please see Annexure II.
  • Each participant will get an online certificate of participation at his/her registered e-mail ID after the successful submission of entry on CBSE Expression Series App.

Prizes for Students (CBSE Expression Series)

  • 10 best entries of each category will be selected by each CBSE Regions for selection of winners at CBSE, New Delhi.
  • Three best entries will be selected at the national level. All of these best entries shall be compiled in the form of a booklet for display on CBSE website.
  • 10 best entries at the regional level (160 entries from 16 ROs) and 03 best entries at the national level will be given to the Ministry of Tourism for honouring the winners.

The decision of the evaluation committee shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Guidelines for Entry Submission by School

Expression Series Android App Usage Details:- Requirement: Android smartphone having operating system version 5.0 and above with internet connectivity.

1. CBSE Expression Series app may be downloaded and installed from Google Play Store. At the time of installation, please ensure that you “Accept” the permissions asked by app.

2. Tap on the “CBSE Expression Series” icon to launch the App and follow the steps given below:

Step-1: Enter Affiliation No and LOC/Registration Password as Password and then tap on the “SUBMIT” button.

Step-2 Follow the steps given below after successful authentication

  1. Enter the Name of the Candidate.
  2. Enter your mobile number.
  3. Enter E-Mail ID.
  4. Enter the Roll Number generated at the school level.
  5. Select class category(primary/ middle/secondary/senior secondary).
  6. Select Class.
  7. Tap on “Take Photo” button to click the picture or select picture from media. Please ensure that the sheet contain all required details as given on annexure I.
  8. Tap “Upload Photo” and Upload picture on server.
  9. Click on ‘View Certificate’ for the online certificate generated after the successful submission of entry by school.

For Viewing the online certificate, Kindly enter your mobile number and roll no. and click search.
