The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the Class 10 and 12 board exam timetables. Students can download the date sheets from the official website at cbse.gov.in. The exams are set to begin on February 15, 2025, and the date sheets will include subject-wise exam dates and timings.
UP Board Exam Dates Announced
While CBSE is yet to release its date sheets, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the 2025 board exam schedule. The exams for Classes 10 and 12 in UP will take place from February 24 to March 12, 2025.
CBSE Practical Exams Begin in January
CBSE has also announced the schedule for practical exams, internal assessments, and project work. For regular schools, these activities will start from January 1, 2025. However, for winter-bound schools, practical exams and assessments are already being conducted and will end on December 5, 2024.
Attendance Requirement for CBSE Board Exams
To be eligible for the CBSE board exams, students must maintain a minimum attendance of 75%. This rule applies to all Class 10 and 12 students appearing in 2025.

This year, approximately 44 lakh students from over 8,000 schools in India and abroad are expected to take the Class 10 and 12 board exams.

- Visit the CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the main website link.
- Select the Class 10 or Class 12 timetable PDF, as required.
- Download the file and check the exam dates.
