The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has shifted the exam date for the CBSE Central Eligibility cum Entrance Test (CTET) December 2024. According to the latest update, the CBSE CTET 2024 exam will now take place on December 15, with two shifts scheduled. Shift 1 will be held from 9:30 am to 12 noon, and Shift 2 is set for 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

Moreover, if the number of candidates exceeds the capacity in any city, the exam may also take place on December 14, 2024. The official notice reads, “Now, due to administrative reasons, the CTET is rescheduled for 15th December 2024 (Sunday). In case there are more candidates in any city, the exam may also be conducted on 14th December 2024.”
Meanwhile, the last date to submit CBSE CTET 2024 applications online is October 16, before 11:59 pm.
CBSE CTET December 2024 Exam: Application Fee
- For General or OBC candidates, the fee is Rs 1,000 for either Paper I or Paper II, and Rs 1,200 for both.
- For SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates, the fee is Rs 500 for either Paper I or Paper II, and Rs 600 for both.
- Payment can be made using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
