The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the opening of the registration window for Classes 9 and 11. Starting from September 18, 2024, students can register themselves for the 2025-26 board examination through the Pariksha Sangam portal on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in. The registration process will remain open until October 16, 2024.
Important Dates for CBSE Registration 2025
- Registration without late fees begins: September 18, 2024
- Registration without late fees ends: October 16, 2024
- Registration with late fees begins: October 18, 2024
- Registration with late fees ends: October 24, 2024
Schools are advised to submit the registration data of candidates on time, as only students who complete the registration process will be allowed to appear for the CBSE board exams in 2025.
How to Register for CBSE Class 9 and 11 Exams
To register, students must follow these steps:
- Visit the CBSE official website: cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the Pariksha Sangam portal on the home page.
- Log in using your credentials and select the “CBSE Class 9, 11 Registrations 2024-2025” link.
- Upload all the required documents and pay the registration fee.
- Submit the form and save a copy for future reference.
CBSE Registration Fees for Class 9 and 11
- Class 9 students: ₹300
- Class 11 students: ₹600
Students who fail to register within the regular registration period will be charged a late fee of ₹2,300, with the final date for submission being October 24, 2024. The fee must be paid through the online payment mode specified by CBSE. Offline payments will not be accepted.
