CBSE Introduces Strict Measures for List of Candidates (LOC) Submission to Enhance Examination Accuracy and Student Experience

CBSE Latest News: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the process of filling the List of Candidates (LOC) for the upcoming Class 10th and 12th board exams in 2024. As of today, August 18, students are required to submit accurate information regarding their subjects and other details in the LOC. CBSE-affiliated schools have also been issued a directive to ensure precision during data input to prevent potential issues for students in the future.

Important Dates and Submission Guidelines

  • The deadline for submitting the LOC is September 18, 2023, with no late fees.
  • Late submissions will be accepted until September 19, 2023, with a late fee of Rs 2000.
  • Schools are entrusted with the responsibility of meticulously entering student data to ensure seamless examination processes.

Important Step in Exam Preparation

CBSE emphasises the significance of submitting the List of Candidates (LOC) as a critical step in preparing for the board examinations. The submission process for the academic session 2023-24 commences on August 18, 2023. CBSE Schools must utilize the e-Pariksha link provided on the CBSE website for the submission.

Smooth Integration for New Affiliated Schools

Newly affiliated CBSE schools are required to first input their details on the OASIS portal. Subsequently, they can proceed to submit data through the HPE portal. This progression allows them to become eligible for submitting their LOC data. Once entered and submitted, CBSE strictly prohibits alterations to the declared student sections or enrollment numbers.

Vital Importance of Accurate Data Submission

The notice reiterates the crucial nature of timely and accurate data submission. Schools are urged to ensure that the data provided is correct to avert potential future disruptions for students. The entire process holds paramount importance in facilitating a smooth examination experience for all stakeholders.
