CBSE Unveils 2023 Supplementary Admit Cards for 10th and 12th Classes
The Central Board of Secondary Education on Friday released the CBSE 10th, 12th supplementary exam 2023 admit cards.
Availability of the Admit Cards
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the 2023 supplementary admit cards for Class 10 and Class 12. Both school administrators and private candidates can download the CBSE Class 10th and 12th Supplementary Admit Cards from the board’s official website – cbse.gov.in.
Regular students will find their admit cards on their schools’ LOC Portal, enabling their schools to download and distribute them. For private candidates, admit cards are accessible via a specified link: https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/comptt/pvtAdmCard.aspx, post-submission of the necessary credentials.
Important Instructions for Students
CBSE insists that every student should ensure possession of a physical copy of the admit card before appearing for the supplementary exams, as it’s the principal document for gaining access to the examination center.
As stated in the official notification, “All the students are therefore advised to obtain/download the admit cards as above, get it signed and stamped by the school principal or centre superintendent as the case may be and appear in the supplementary examinations thereafter.”
Step-by-Step Guide to Downloading the Admit Card
- Visit the official website at cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘School Login’ link provided on the homepage.
- A new window will appear. Enter the school user ID and password to log in.
- Select the relevant class and the supplementary admit cards will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the CBSE supplementary exam admit cards 2023 and distribute them amongst students after taking a printout.
2023 Supplementary Exam Schedule
CBSE’s 2023 supplementary exams for Classes 10 and 12 are slated to begin on July 17. The Class 12 supplementary exams will be conducted on a single day from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM for certain subjects. The Class 10 supplementary exams, scheduled to conclude on July 22, will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM for three subjects.
The release of these supplementary exam admit cards provides an opportunity for students who didn’t pass the board examinations held in February-March 2023 to reappear for the exams. School administrators are responsible for downloading the CBSE supplementary admit cards 2023 on behalf of students and disseminating them.
