Atal Innovation Mission had launched its flagship Innovation Challenge for school children of India – The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) Marathon 2021-22 – a National level innovation challenge, where students identify community problems of their choice and develop innovative solutions in the form of working prototypes.
The last edition of the Marathon witnessed many innovations, the top 350 of which got internship opportunities with top companies in India, prizes, and certificates from AIM, and NITI Aayog.
The theme for ATL Marathon 2022-23 is “India’s G20 Presidency”. The themes & problem statements of this year’s ATL Marathon are inspired by the various working groups of the G20. The students can choose any of the problem statements provided in the details enclosed or work on a problem statement that they find around themselves.
Top-performing teams will get certificates & internships through the Student Innovator Program and Student Entrepreneurship Programme with leading Corporates & Incubation Centres of India and many more exciting opportunities. The Top 10 teams from each State and Union Territory will also receive certificates of excellence.
The ATL competition is open to all students of India (ATL Schools and non-ATL Schools) and is an excellent way to develop and hone an innovation mindset amongst the students.
