In the latest announcement from CBSE, today marks the final date for students to register for the coveted Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge. Those eager to participate have until the end of the day (25th September) to complete their online registration.
Eligibility and Modes of Aryabhatta Challenge :
The Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge is open to students from CBSE-affiliated schools. This Mathematics Challenge is Designed to foster a love for mathematics.
The Aryabhatta Ganit Competition is split into two distinct levels:
Level-1 and Level-2. The initial level, Level-1, will be a pen-and-paper test held directly at the respective schools. In contrast, CBSE will host the subsequent Level-2 on a national scale, employing a computer-based format.
No Financial Barrier to Entry:
Emphasizing accessibility, CBSE has chosen not to levy any registration fee for the Level-1 examination. This decision aligns with the board’s objective of encouraging maximum participation and allowing students to hone their mathematical prowess.
Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge Structure:
Those Students who are participating in the first stage of Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge 2023 , they can expect multiple-choice questions (MCQs). This Aryabhatta Mathematics Challenge will carry a total weightage of 40 marks, with the reassuring aspect being the absence of any negative marking for incorrect answers.
Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge Selection Process for Level-2:
Post the Level-1 examination, schools are tasked with identifying their three highest-scoring students. These top-performing individuals will then represent their schools in the Level-2 Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge. Schools are responsible for forwarding these names to CBSE, ensuring their students get the opportunity to shine at the national level.
