CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the registration process for the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) 2022.

CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the registration process for the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) 2022. CBSE conducts the Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge (AGC) challenge for students of classes VIII to X, which aims to focus on the extent to which children are capable. So that they adopt mathematics in their daily life.

CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge Registration Process

The AGC registration process is hosted by the official website of CBSE – cbse.nic.in and cbseacademic.nic.in. Schools affiliated with CBSE can apply till 5:30 PM on 15th November. AGC will be conducted at two levels Level-1 and Level-2.

  • The level-1 competition will be conducted at the school level in pen-paper mode.
  • Level 2 of AGC will be conducted by CBSE at the national level in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
  • No fee will be charged for the first phase.

CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge Eligibility

Students of classes VIII to X in CBSE-affiliated schools are eligible to participate in the school-level Ganit competition. Whereas only the top three students from each affiliated school registered in the first phase will qualify for the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) Level-2 competition. The duration of the CBSE Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge will be of one hour on both levels.

CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge Questions Type

The question paper will consist of objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The total weightage will be 40 marks and there will be no negative marks. The question paper along with the answer key will be made available to the registered schools between November 16-21, 2022. The registered schools will conduct the exam using the question paper to identify the top three students.

CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge TimeLine

The second level exam will be conducted on December 15. Schools can enroll the names of the top three students from 28 November to 10 December 2022 by paying an online fee of Rs 900. After successful completion of the second-level computer test, a merit certificate will be given to the top 100 students from each CBSE region.

CBSE in an official notification said that all schools may encourage their students to participate in the Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge and avail the opportunity to identify and nurture the mathematical skills and potential of the students. Participation and performance in this challenge can also be acknowledged in the portfolio of students.
