AISSEE Sainik Schools offer admission at the level of Class VI and Class IX. Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). Sainik Schools Society (SSS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. The Society runs Sainik Schools. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE).
About Registration for Admission to AISSEE Sainik schools
The registration process for admission to military AISSEE schools across the country has started. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2023 notification for admission to 33 Sainik Schools as well as 18 newly recognized Sainik Schools. If you want to enroll your child in Sainik School, you must read the information given below.
Which classes of AISSEE Military Schools will get admission?
AISSEE Sainik School Admission 2023: Sainik schools admit only the 6th and 9th standard. A national-level entrance examination known as AISSEE is conducted for admission into it. The age of the student should be 10-12 years for admission in class 6 and the age of the student should be 13-15 years for class 9. These schools impart education through the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
What is the exam pattern of AISSEE?
The class 6 entrance exam is of 300 marks in which questions are asked from four subjects Mathematics, General Knowledge (GK), Language, and Intelligence. There will be 50 questions for three marks each from Mathematics and 25 questions for two marks each from General Knowledge, Language, and Intelligence. There is an exam of 400 marks for class IX which will have 50 questions of four marks each from Mathematics and English, Intelligence, and Intelligence. In General Science and Social Studies, 25 questions of two marks each are asked.
Admission Fee for AISSEE Sainik School Admission 2023
For admission, General category candidates have to deposit Rs.650 as an application fee while candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories have to pay Rs.500 as an application fee. According to NTA AISSEE test will be held on January 8. On this day, the 6th class exam will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm while the 9th class exam will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Students can apply online for registration in Sainik schools (AISSEE Sainik School Admission 2023) by visiting the official website www.aissee.nta.nic.in. Meanwhile, candidates need to submit Photograph, Signature, Thumb impression, Birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable) Service Certificate, if an applicant is a son or daughter of serving Defense Personnel or PPO, Ex-Servicemen, To be uploaded on the website.
Ministry of Defense partnered with 18 new schools
National Testing Agency (NTA) has said in the notice that apart from 33, the Ministry of Defense has partnered with 18 new schools. It also includes non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and private and government schools. Admission to these 18 schools will also be done by the Sainik School Society.
