NISA President Accuses Government of Doing Injustice to Private Schools

Educational News: National President of NISA and State President of the Federation of Private Schools Welfare Association, Kulbhushan Sharma accused the government fiercely during the press conference in Chandigarh. He accused the government of pushing the future of the students into darkness.

Kulbhushan Sharma said that due to the discriminatory attitude of the Haryana government, about 5000 schools in Haryana have reached the verge of closure, out of which more than 2000 schools are provisionally recognized. Every year the government gives them an extension of one year so that they can fulfill their rules. Due to the non-extension of the recognition period of these schools by the government this year, the future of 5 lakh children studying in them has been clouded with darkness.

NISA President Kulbhushan Sharma said that the government is misusing its power and wants to close small schools citing the rules of the Right to Education Act, while the government’s own schools do not follow the rules of RTE.

He said that the private schools were trying to get out of the economic recession hit by the Corona epidemic, that the government has left them to die and the students studying in them helpless by not extending their recognition period.

Kulbhushan Sharma said that the government is misusing its power and wants to close small schools citing the rules of the Right to Education Act, while the government’s own schools do not follow the rules of RTE. Citing the said that many government schools in Haryana also do not live up to the rules of the Right to Education Act, then why does the government want to take such action only against small private schools.

He alleged discrimination in admission to private schools and government schools. He said that on online admission in government schools, OTP goes on the phone of the head of the government school, while on admission in private schools, OTP goes on the phone of the parents, due to which there is a problem in giving admission to private school students.
